Buying Used Cars

A few weeks ago I got the bad news from my Car mechanic – My car was officially dead! The head gasket had gone, and on a car like mine, it really wasn’t worth replacing. I had presumed that this was going to be the case, but I just hadn’t had time to think of what I would dowithout it. Now I was faced with the situation, I knew that I would have to find myself another second hand car and quick.

I started off by having a look in the local paper, but all of the ones I was interested in had already sold or they were overpriced. I decided to try my hand online, and quickly came across a decent looking site which sold new and used cars. The site was called Motors, and the Motors used cars seemed to be great value. The site was the type where you type in your preferences in terms of value, make, model etc, and it was very user friendly. After only a bit of searching I found a great looking Ford Focus with about 100,000 miles on the clock which looked great. I arranged to go and have a look at the car, and after a test drive, I decided to make an offer. I managed to get £100 knocked off the asking price and I drove it away that day! A week later and I’ve already covered five hundred miles in the thing, and it is absolutely superb! I am starting to feel pleased that my other car died!
