Most of who own a car faces a lot of issues related to car maintenance. There are certain key points that have to be kept in mind while using your car. These tips or information as you can call it as is the basic and the simple ones but cannot be ignored and left unattended. The most common problem one face is during the fuel filling, either you will be too busy go to the petrol station or the station will be crowded and the only option you see is to send someone else to buy petrol in a can, but how are you going to pour with as the neck of the bottle is tilted and the petrol spills all over. The solution is easy either have funnel in your car trunk or make one yourself using empty PET bottle – mineral water, cold drink, slice off the bottom and you can use as funnel.

Key issue

Busy lifestyles and schedules can sometimes makes us absentminded and we accidentally leave the car keys inside the car and the best solution is to have aspare key always with you that will help you come out of this mess.

Filler caps

Fuel filler caps often tend to lose and are difficult to replace. There are some cars with an attachment for the lid, but if it not then you can always have a plastic strap or thin chain connected to the cap and attach the other end to the lid.

Paste itDue to rough or uneven or worn wipers, the windscreens have dull marks and even scratches. We use various solutions available in the market to remove these stains but it does not clear completely. There is home remedy that can be used: take a clean soft cloth and apply some toothpaste and spread mildly with light circular motions and then rinse it off. This will give you a clean windshield.

Oil it

While driving if you come across any squeaky sound, you do not have to rush to the mechanic immediately. You can repair it yourself. For small quantity of oil, the engine oil dipstick is a great source. But make sure that the dipstick is clean before it is placed back.

Take It Off

Indian roads are always engaged with constant repairs and patchworks and there are chances of coal tar getting stuck to the tires and later throwing them to vehicles lower panels. It can damage the paint and the easy way to remove it to use a solution called WD-40. Quick Fix Some times the air-conditioner or the fan start to irritating sounds and if the sound is too annoying then switch of the engine, open the hood and pour some soft drink over the belt, making the belt sticky, stopping from slipping for a while. And later the belt can be replaced.

Better grip Flat tires come with out any notice at the wrong time and wrong place. And if it on a soft or rough surface, then there you have a problem as the jack will slip on the soft or uneven surfaces. Use of a wooden plank can be of great help, providing it a solid and smoother surface for better grip.

Tubeless tiresMost of the car makers come with the tubeless tires in India but the repair facilities very limited and almost unheard of on most highways. Take the tire off the wheel by a mechanic or the and remove the nail or the object from the tire and cut off the fixed rubber nozzle or tire slip in the tube and inflate it like its done on regular tube tires.

A good driving style can help you save the fuel as well as increase the mileage. This will not only increase the life of your car but will also give you a good resale value.

Silver dollar fish are popular, great looking tropical, freshwater fish and have been a hit with aquarium owners for years. These fish come from South America and only grow to five or six inches. As you can imagine, they get their name from their look. Silver Dollars are flat, silver fish with extremely round bodies. They resemble a silver tea cup saucer, or a silver dollar.
There are different types of silver dollar fish. One that many fish aquarists enjoy is the spotted silver dollar (metynnis lippincottianus).
Spotted silver dollar should be kept in a school of three or more. While generally peaceful fish, the spotted silver dollar will be uncomfortable and could get scared if not in a school. They tend to be a little hyper. If you come up to the tank too quickly or make any sudden movements near the water, the fish will dart wildly around the tank. For their sake, have safe aquarium decorations. But, don’t put live plants in the tank unless you don’t want it. These fish are herbivores and will demolish any live plants.
Feed these fish a steady diet of green vegetables, flakes and occasionally live food. A healthy diet will go a long way in their car.
Aquarium conditions: Even though these are smaller fish, they prefer a very large tank. Give them room to swim. The water should be around 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Only venture two degrees in either direction from this. They enjoy soft, acidic water. The pH level needs to be around 6.0 to 7.5.
There are silver dollar fish (metynnis hypsauchen) without the spots. These silvery fish are skittish as well. Don’t make any sudden movements near the tank or they will freak out. They require many of the same environment conditions as the spotted silver dollar and make a good communal fish.
Silver dollar aquariums can be a lot of fun with these tiny fish darting around. Give them many hiding places with a larger tank and fake, plastic plants. The real kind will get eaten up.
Aquarium conditions: Keep the water temperature between 75 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. These tropical freshwater fish like it warm. The pH should stay between 5.5 and 7.0.
If silver dollar fish are not what you’re after, you may want to look around the pet shop for other types of fish. There are so many different fish to choose from that if you don’t like one kind there will probably be six other species you will fall in love with. Go through the aisles of the pet shop or search the Internet to see if there are any fish that catch your interest. One fish you might want to consider is the Black Widow Tetra (gymnocorymbus ternetzi). The fish have black dorsal and anal fins with black stripes across its body.
It’s one of the most popular tropical freshwater fish for its friendly personality and unique look. It’s a great community fish, so it will add flavor to any aquarium. There are different varieties of this fish, which makes them interesting. You will find this fish is some different colors such as the petticoat (light pink). Black tetras enjoy most foods. Give them a variety of foods to ensure a healthy diet. Try flakes, live food, worms and frozen foods.
Aquarium conditions: These fish are easy to care for, which makes them a big hit for tropical freshwater aquarium lovers. They like hard, acidic water. The pH level should be between 5.5 and 8.5, which is a very large value. The temperature of the tank should be between 75 and 79 degrees. These conditions allow the fish to enjoy a variety of conditions with many other fish.

Pug health requires that you brush their coat at least once a week and a bath whenever they require it. The Pug dog will shed a lot, so by brushing often you can help reduce the amount of fur that coats your furniture, car and clothes. There isn’t much that goes into the daily care of a Pug, but you need to pay special attention to the wrinkles on a Pugs face.
Pugs are naturally curious and as a result stick their nose into a lot of things. This means the wrinkles easily become full of dirt and require regular cleaning. There is also the chance of moisture building up in the wrinkles, which can cause itching, irritation and occasionally a bad infection. But cleaning the wrinkles isn’t that difficult, you just need a soft tissue and make sure you clean the wrinkles on a regular basis to keep the buildup down.
As with all dog breeds you want to make sure you regularly trim your Pugs nails. Pug health depends on the trimming since nails that are too long can become caught in blankets or other things. Longer nails also cause pain for your Pug when walking. Even if you don’t want to trim your dog’s nails there are plenty of vet and grooming places that could do it for you. Keep an eye on the nails and don’t let them get too long since they will grow very fast.
Pugs are different from other breeds in the sense that they do like water. So when bathing the only real difficult part is to avoid getting water in the ears, which can lead to ear infections and don’t get shampoo in the sensitive eyes. If your Pug really enjoys water and wants to play then take the time to play with them while they are in the bath to make bathing an enjoyable event for both you and your Pug.
Keeping the ears dry and clean is another important part of caring for Pug health. Pugs are prone to ear infections due to their narrow ear canal. When you clean the ears regularly you should always use soft tissues or a cotton ball and never a cotton swab. If your Pug is shaking it’s head a lot or scratching their ears then you should take them to the vet to have their ears checked. If there is a weird smell in the ears then you will also want to seek medical attention since this can be a sign of a fungus or ear infection.
Owners will often have a bottle or two of old ear drops around the house since Pugs get ear infections so often. Although you don’t want to use these since it can make the infection worse. It is best to use them only under the approval of a licensed veterinarian and only if you have cleaned the bottle very well and stored it in the refrigerator.

Many Eczema sufferers are unaware that sometimes good skin care regimes are all that stands between endless suffering and an improved quality of life. The simplest of changes and techniques can make all the difference, so I have put together a few tips to hopefully help you out.

Learn the natural way to GET RID OF ECZEMA

Fix Your Diet-There’s a whole lot more to skincare than just fancy creams and lotions. Real skin care starts on the inside-if you give your body the tools it needs to fix the Eczema damaged skin, you will have a definite advantage. Continuing to eat the wrong foods while trying to clear up your Eczema is like trying to run your car without gasoline! It just can’t get going! Scientists have found that foods with high acidity are linked to increased Eczema symptoms. For some reason high acid content makes the skin more prone to irritation, which of course brings on the Eczema. You can avoid this by obviously steering clear of acidy foods, which is easier than it sounds. A dietician should be able to steer you the right way though. Fear not though, there is a much simpler way to improve this too-kelp supplements. Kelp is very high in alkali, which will neutralize the acid it finds in your system, so you may find relief there.Moisturize Regularly-You need to get into a habit of moisturizing your skin at least twice a day, preferably after taking a bath or shower. This is great for your skin because the more moisture there is inside it, the suppler it will be, and obviously soft supple skin is far less likely to crack and itch than dry flaky skin. The reason you need to apply the moisturizer after bathing or showering is because this will help lock in the moisture from the bath. You should pat yourself almost dry with a very soft towel, and then apply the moisturizer to damp skin. It’s a little harder to rub in, but it’s worth it in the long run.

Learn the natural way to GET RID OF ECZEMA

Protect Yourself-Be aware of all the things than can trigger your Eczema, and do your best to avoid them. As a general rule, avoid wearing any kind of perfume or scent, as well as all scented soaps or toiletries. You will also probably find a little relief if you can get rid of all the perfumed detergents in your home. If you can wash your clothing in unscented natural detergents you will probably find that your clothing is suddenly not so itchy! As I’ve tried to illustrate here, you don’t have to go to huge lengths to get some control in the battle against your eczema. In most cases all you need is common sense and some consistency. I hope these tips bring you some relief, but remember to be consistent!

We almost all have a home theater system and you take car of him like if were a real person is like a treasure for you.

Some with state of the art equipment; while others compose of the simple appliances that can be bought at the department store. But there is one thing in common that we have in our home entertainment room, caring for them.

Xaviera Arata Editor of the Best Home Theater Systems website — http://www.BestHomeTheaterSystem.me — pointed out;

“…What are the tips that we should remember when caring for our home entertainment system? What are the things that you should and shouldn’t do in order to care for this part of our home?…” Added Xaviera Arata

Here are a few tips on how you can maintain the good service of your home entertainment system.

1. Dust and clean regularly. Dust and dirt can easily accumulate on the entertainment system. You must always have a regular schedule, at least three to four times a week, to clean this part of your home. Dust and dirt accumulated on the equipment can hamper the proper functioning of the entire system.

2. Keep the entire system at room temperature. The room where the theater system is should always be kept conducive for the equipment, not too hot or too cold. The room should have a moderate temperature that won’t affect the functioning of the home entertainment equipment. Too hot can affect the facilities and too cold could freeze them, thus, impairing the proper functioning of the entire system.

3. Don’t over use equipment. Make sure that you don’t abuse the system in general. If you are going to use it, make sure that you have a time limit in using the system. Machines also get tired, including your home theater system. If you use it properly and care for it properly, the lifespan of your equipment will last longer.

4. Use the equipment properly and only for its purpose(s). Always follow instructions in the manual on how to use the equipment properly and don’t use it for other purposes not stated in the manual.

“…If you clean the lifespan of your equipment will be longer and your home entertainment system will be useful for a long period of time…” Added Xaviera Arata

Further information, resources and reviews of the best home theater systems by clicking: http://www.BestHomeTheaterSystem.me

We humans buy real estate and build a house. We move in, and create a home. When we are ready to move, it again becomes real estate… anon.
The chances are, someday you’re going to put your house up for sale on the local real estate market, and either start working with a professional real estate agent (a.k.a. realtor®) to find a new house, or go out and look for one on your own. Perhaps you will be the first family to live in the new house, perhaps not. Either way, you will want to keep your home, old or new, well maintained. Remember, someday your home will become real estate, and the real estate agent you hire to sell it will give you a list of things you’ll need to ensure are in good shape to expedite the sale and get the highest possible asking price.
It helps if you think of your house or home as real estate, at least in terms of its maintenance. Sometimes we are willing to let certain things lapse in our homes, but in matters of real estate that we have placed on the open market with a professional realtor, we take a different view. This article proceeds from the position that it is easier, more efficient, more pleasant, safer, and even more frugal to maintain your real estate on a consistent basis, rather than waiting until you place it up for sale with a real estate agent. (If you’d like to read a comprehensive article on fixing up your real estate for sale, I suggest visiting: http://www.dotcomtucson.com/tucsonarizonarealestate/sellingyourdeserthome.html.)
Maintaining the basics of single family real estate is relatively simple, and can be handled extremely efficiently in an hour or so on a couple of weekends each month. There are things to be done monthly, and things to be done semi-annually, and items to attend to annually. Using a computer is an exceptionally effective way to track your maintenance. It can be done in many kinds of software, including basic word processors.
Monthly real estate maintenance tasks:
• Check the water softener salt level. (Check and add as necessary.)
• *Spray for bugs. (Use appropriate pesticides and spray unit type.)
• Landscaping maintenance. (Check water lines for leaks, remove debris, check outdoor light bulbs/wires, and adornments attached to structures.)
• Check HV/AC air filter. (Replace or clean as necessary – this will keep the house cleaner and allow the unit to be more efficient. A clogged air cleaner can really raise your air conditioning AND heating costs!)
• Service outdoor materials. (This includes vinyl and cloth chairs, outdoor tables, swings, etc. Use a product such as Armor-All on vinyl surfaces top protect it from rotting in the UV. Put some kind of coating on metal that has become exposed – such as a rust-preventing paint: clear paint will do if necessary.)
• Inspect window locks. (Service as necessary. Sparingly use petroleum jelly to lubricate aluminum. This is a good time to ensure that windows which should be locked, are locked!)
• Inspect the garage floor for petroleum products spills. (This includes oils and greases – anything slippery or caustic. Clean as necessary.)
• *Inspect the ice maker. (Dump ice that forms into clumps in the bottom of the tray, if the ice accumulates much at your house. Check for ice around the rotating dump mechanism, and remove if it is building up. Hint: a little baking soda in the bottom of the ice tray keeps the freezer fresh.)
Semi-annual real estate maintenance tasks:
• Service locksets and passage sets. (Tighten/adjust hardware, lubricate with 3:1 oil or WD-40.)
• Service door locks. (Tighten/adjust hardware, lubricate with 3:1 oil or WD-40. Lubricate the keyhole with powdered graphite – use this very sparingly.)
• Service hinges. (Wipe down and lubricate with 3:1 oil or WD-40.)
• Service sliding doors. (Clean the tracks with a small brush and then vacuum. Use petroleum jelly as a lubricant – NOT WD-40. Locking mechanisms can be lightly lubricated with WD-40.)
• Service dryer. (Open the access panel and vacuum the accumulated lint out of all the areas you can. This will make the dryer work better, and help to prevent fires.)
• Service garbage disposer. (Check for trapped debris, deodorize with ¼-cup of baking soda: dump baking soda powder directly into disposer at night and allow it to stand. Simply wait until the system is used again and all the baking soda will disappear. NB These units are usually mistakenly referred to as ‘garbage disposals.’ The correct term, and it is most often printed on them, is ‘garbage disposer.’)
• Service the refrigerator. (Clean mold, fungus, and mildew out of the water catch tray. Carefully clean the coils – they make long, soft brushes just for this. Vacuum or blow away dust on motor, etc.)
• Inspect screens. (Repair or replace as necessary.)
• Inspect electrical covers. (This includes plugs and light switches. Make sure the covers are secure and not cracked.)
Annual real estate maintenance tasks:
• Inspect all exterior wood. (Look for cracks, rot, etc. Treat as required. Catch these things early! Painting or other outdoor wood coatings are the best way to avoid very costly problems in this arena.)
• Inspect caulking seals in bathrooms. (Service or replace as necessary. Prevent costly water damage in walls before it starts.)
• Landscaping maintenance. (Fertilize, weed, trim trees and bushes. Apply pesticides as needed.)
• Roof inspection. (Check this visually. Look for torn or missing shingles, or areas around vents or chimneys where the flashing or caulking has been damaged or is missing. Service as needed to prevent costly water damage.)
• Check garage door wheels. (White lithium grease is an excellent lubricant. Make sure no wheels have come out of their tracks, or are binding. Check the seal to the floor.)
• Inspect carpeted stairways. (Make sure that the carpet is being firmly held – to avoid accidents. Service as necessary.)
• *Replace ALL smoke alarm backup batteries. (Just do them all once a year and get it out of the way! It’s better than going out for that ladder once a month for a year.)
Items are optional based on your specific situation and real estate.
Look at the end of this article for some great tips on how to attend to the above maintenance tasks, and more. There are some really helpful hints there that can save time and money – and help you protect the investment you’ve made in your home – which is, of course, also the real estate you invested your hard earned dollars in.
Taking good care of the real estate during your stewardship will yield many rewards including saving you some money in the end, keeping the house safer, and catching problems while they are still manageable and inexpensive to repair. And when you decide to find a new home, your real estate agent or realtor will appreciate all your ongoing maintenance – which will also help you bring in top dollar for your real estate investment! Don’t you hope your next home is currently owned by someone who believes in maintaining their real estate?
Real Estate Maintenance Tips
• If you cut the top out of a bush or tree, it will grow outward – become ‘bushier.’ If you leave the top, it will continue to grow higher. This phenomenon occurs because of what is called “apical dominance.”
• For deeper grass roots – and better drought tolerance – water at night, and very slowly so the water goes deep. It also saves water to water at night – when the heat and sun don’t evaporate as much before it soaks in.
• Baking soda comes in large containers and is cheap. You can use it to deodorize areas, trash cans, and shoes. Sprinkle just a little on a carpet and let it stand for 24-hours, and the carpet is deodorized. You can also add some to water and slowly pour it over car battery terminals that have corrosion – it harmlessly cleans right down to the metal – immediately!
• 3 In 1 Oil is a very light, multi-purpose lubricant. It is better than the popular WD-40 for several things as it clings better/longer. Use it for hinges, for example – and use it sparingly. Powdered graphite is the best lock lubricant made. It’s cheap and easy to use – but use it very sparingly! It’s great for car door locks and keyed-padlocks, also.
• To quickly make the whole house smell better, buy a pack of automobile air fresheners – those paper ones shaped liked different things. Place one or two of them at the front of the air intake for the HV/AC and turn the fan to ‘on.’ It takes about 15-minutes. I like vanilla scent best.
• A screen repair and installation kit is a wise investment. It’s cheap, and provides you with things that make screen repairs and replacements fast and easy – and much, much cheaper than taking the door or window in for service.
• Vinegar and water cleans extremely well. Just buy a gallon of white vinegar, and mix with water at about 1-cup vinegar to 1-gallon water. It is the best glass cleaner there is. It’s also a great cleaner for wood floors. It works well on anything oily or greasy. It’s cheap!!
• Bees wax – get a small block of it at the hardware store. It ‘lubricates’ wood – such as drawers. It is also great for wood screws. Put a dab on the tip of the screw and then install. It will go in smoother and easier, and it will not work its way loose over time as easily.
• If you can’t get a screw to hold in wood, because the hole has become too large, use toothpicks or matchsticks (with the heads removed for safety) to make a quick, permanent repair. Gently tap the toothpicks or match sticks into the hole with a small hammer. (Put one drop of white glue or wood glue on the tips before you drive them in for an even stronger fix.) Now, use a cutter to snip the ends of the picks or sticks off. File or sand to flat. Now it can be painted, drilled or screwed into. NB If you use glue, allow it to dry before snipping and finishing.
• Fixing holes in walls made of drywall: Buy a tiny container of water-based, pre-mixed Joint Compound. For small holes, use your finger to fill and then, using another finger that is wet, smooth it. Now, gently wipe the area with a clean cloth or paper towel. When the compound dries, a fine white dust will form anywhere that the compound touched. Lightly brush it away. For larger holes, such as those left by molly bolts, you can use chalk sticks to aid in the filling. Use your finger and put some compound into the hole – making sure to get it on all the edges. Break off a short length of chalk and ‘twist’ it slowly into the hole. Put it in until it is even with the wall, or very slightly lower. Allow this to completely dry. Now, go back and apply compound over the hole. Press the compound firmly into the hole, and then make a slightly raised lump of it. When this dries, sand it with 300 or better sand paper until it is perfectly flush with the wall’s surface.
• You can polish raw wood with grade 0000 steel wool or even a finer (more zeros) grade of steel wool. Try it on a spare 2″x4″ – it quickly looks like it’s been varnished!
