   what’s the difference between a 600watts car amplifier from the 600 watts amplifier used in live bands? just want to know how a line-in signal from a bunch of instruments that is mixed differs from a source on a tape or a CD. Since amps used in live bands cost much more than those amps used in home theaters and car audio.

   Most commonly they are made up of electrodynamic driver. A woofer contains a cone which is driven by a voice coil. The voice coil is surrounded by a magnetic field. The working principle is very simple. The current flows through the coil and the coil moves in relation to the frame. The magnet and the coil form a linear motor. Due to flow of current voice coil moves like a piston. The motion of the cone creates sound waves.
