Searching for Bike Insurance

For the last fifteen years I have known where I am with my insurance. I have built up a nice few years worth of no claims discount, and my premium is really quite low. As far as the family car is concerned, we are really well covered, but a month or so ago, I decided that I was finally going to act on a desire I had had for many years by buying a motorbike. The thought of this absolutely thrilled me, but I have to say that I had no idea about insurance for bikes.

Once I had found the bike I wanted to buy, I spoke to my regular insurance company, who gave me a quote. The price was a lot higher than I had been expecting, especially when you consider that I have an excellent driving record with my car. I was tempted to just go with it for the sake of convenience, but something stopped me. I felt as if I was being ripped off and I wanted to see if I could find any specialist bike insurance out there.

I started to have a look around online, and soon came across a great looking company called Carole Nash. Once I spoke to them I was amazed to discover that they were far cheaper, and the cover was so much better too! I was so glad that I had taken the time to look around, and I ended up saving over one hundred and fifty pounds on my insurance!
