Car Insurance and Bike Insurance
For a couple of years now I haven’t needed any of my own transport. I have been living in London for the last three years and personally I found having anything motorized more of an inconvenience than a benefit given that I lived right next to the tube station!
Luckily for me I have now moved out of the capital, and with a few years worth of London wages I am in the position to be able to buy myself a new car and a new bike! The car was very straight forward for me. I found something that I liked very quickly, and the purchase and the insuring of the vehicle went very smoothly. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the bike! I was quite specific about what I wanted to buy, and finding a decent example was not easy. Eventually I found something all the way over the other side of the country in Essex, but at least I was halfway to being on the road with the thing.
The next problem was insurance. I tried to get on the same policy for my car, but the extra cost was exorbitant! My insurers told me that they didn’t tend to insure people on bikes so I decided to find a n insurer that specifically insured bikes. I found a company called Carole Nash and thankfully they offered me a great deal! I was beginning to think that it might be easier not bothering with a bike, but a bit of perseverance paid off!
